Greetings to the scribes of Trimaris!
I was fortunate enough to meet several of you at our College of Scribes
meeting this weekend, and I know many of you just from bopping around
all the scribal classes in the kingdom when I can. For those I have not
met, I hope to be able to say "hi" to you soon as well!
I was honored to take over the Chart Signet position from her
Ladyship Finguala this past weekend at coronation and am busily getting
settled into that office after having been Finguala's deputy for the
last year.
A few bits and pieces - I will be trying to post "most wanted"
lists on a monthly basis just so people know where we stand with what to
work on at any given moment. You may, of course, work on scrolls that
are not on the most wanted list, but please do avoid those on our "DON'T
MAKE THESE" list. I will be perfectly fine if I never receive another
Healer's Lamp ;) The Most Wanted may not change month to month very
much but I would rather remind people of the Kingdom's needs regularly.
As always, you are welcome to complete full scrolls, line drawings,
fully drawn and illuminated blanks, or calligraphy only. Or any
combination thereof!
I really am in need of calligraphers! If you are
wondering if you could be one, please let me know and I'll try to get to
where you are to teach (or find someone close who can.) Calligraphy
just needs some practice and isn't that hard!
If you need supplies and are turning in scrolls to the
kingdom, please feel free to contact our quartermaster, her excellency
Jehanette de Lille. Her contact information can be found on the college
of scribes web page (see below)
If you have scrolls to turn in I will happily accept them at
any event I am at, or at any meeting. I would prefer you not have to
mail them unless you are extremely desperate to get them to me. In
general, I'm at an event a month, often more.
I would like to echo Mistress Gwenyllan's sentiment from the
scribe meeting for everyone to continue challenging yourself. The work
you turn in is FABULOUS and so very much loved. I cannot begin to tell
you how much you are all appreciated and adored and how often I just go
"ooooo!" when people hand me piles of work.
Please, if I can be of any service, if you want more resources
in your area, or you have any questions, feel free to send a note. For those who need a refresher, the college of scribes website can be found at: https://sites.google.com/site/trimariscos/home
Thank you! In service, Milesenda de Bourges |
